Implemented by the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF), INP is a 30-month national campaign to reverse voter apathy and rebuild citizen trust in Nigeria's democracy.
Since 1999, voter turnout has declined despite record registration numbers and technological reforms. The 2023 general elections recorded just 26.7% turnout — the lowest in over four decades. INEC's own data confirmed it.
The paradox is striking: registration is high, but actual participation lags. Disinformation, insecurity, weak candidate manifestos, and a deep trust deficit have combined to hollow out civic engagement across Nigeria.
INP's job is to fix that. Systematically. With evidence. Across all 36 states and the FCT.
"Many within this group rarely participate in elections or fulfil their civic responsibilities. INP seeks to transform this outlook by rebuilding trust in the system and encouraging active participation."

No party money. No partisan brief. No political debt. Our independence isn't a tagline — it's the architecture of everything we do.
Every claim we make is evidence-based. Every position we hold is principled. We don't do vague campaign promises here.
Youth, women, first-time voters, persons with disabilities. INP targets the groups democracy has historically left out — on purpose.
We track everything. Voter turnout. Citizens reached. Accountability dialogues held. Measurable outcomes, not good intentions.
Through awareness creation, advocacy, and civic campaigns targeted at voters, candidates, and electoral officials alike.
Particularly among youth, women, and persons with disabilities — through evidence-based civic education and technology-driven outreach.
Through sustained dialogue, issue-based advocacy, and engagement before, during, and after elections.
INP doesn't end on election day. We stay engaged so citizens can track what their leaders actually deliver.
9 priority states — selected by lowest voter turnout per geopolitical zone and upcoming governorship elections.
Civic professionals, communications experts, policy thinkers, and community organisers — all with one purpose.

Driving INP's national implementation with civic leadership experience across all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

Coordinating the Technical Working Group, state-level teams, and partner organisations to keep 30 months of implementation on track.

Running INP's media campaigns across radio, TV, print, and social — producing the materials that reach five million citizens.

Tracking every metric from voter turnout to stakeholder collaboration — making sure INP's impact is measured, not assumed.
